ENGIE Belgium is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead electrical aspects on Renewable Energy and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects within the Benelux portfolio. You will contribute to design, safety, and performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, and construction.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Engineering and hands-on experience with high-voltage infrastructure, substations, and renewables assets.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Engineering and first professional experience in electrical projects.
Strong interest in renewables and BESS technologies.
Solid understanding of high-voltage equipment, substations, and renewable assets.
Fluency in French and/or Dutch; professional English proficiency.
Safety-conscious with collaborative mindset.

Responsabilités

Provide electrical engineering expertise across Renewable Energy and BESS projects to maximise asset performance and availability.
Develop and improve technical standards and electrical requirements for projects.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during development, tendering and construction.
Monitor on-site quality and safety, support commissioning and operational excellence.
Act as technical reference for complex electrical challenges.
Build relationships with suppliers, contractors and partners.
Drive continuous improvement and share best practices.
