Job summary

Linking Talents Belgium is recruiting for an Accounting & Consolidation Manager for a permanent position within a leading group active in real estate and construction. You will be the CFO's right hand, overseeing accounting across multiple entities and guiding consolidation across several countries.

You will manage a small finance team, implement improvements in finance tooling and processes, and ensure compliance with BE GAAP and IFRS, while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, tax, business or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of finance/accounting experience.
• Deep expertise in Belgian accounting/tax regulations, BE GAAP and IFRS.
• Languages: FR/NL and ENG, ideally FR, NL & ENG.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting, quarterly/year-end closings, and audits.
• Consolidate ~60 entities/SPVs across 5 countries in line with accounting, tax, and statutory standards.
• Analyze financial data to advise management.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of two in a positive environment.
• Standardize processes and drive change with cross-functional buy-in.

6000 – 7000€ monthly gross depending on profile (x13.92).

Responsibilities

Accounting & Consolidation

• Oversee general accounting, quarterly/year-end closings, and audits.

• Monitor finance tech, AI, and automation trends to streamline tools and processes.

• Track initiative impact on quality, efficiency, reliability, and deadlines.

People Management & Collaboration

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of two in a positive, open environment.
• Drive change collaboratively by explaining goals, addressing concerns, and fostering buy‑in.
• Standardize processes, encourage knowledge sharing, and serve as a primary stakeholder contact.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Tax, Business, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of finance/accounting experience; team management is an asset.
• Deep expertise in Belgian accounting/tax regulations, BE GAAP, and IFRS.
• Minimum FR/NL + ENG ideally FR, NL & ENG
• Hands‑on, structured, and results‑driven with an entrepreneurial, business‑focused mindset.
• Curious and forward‑thinking, constructively challenging status quo processes.
