Job summary

Linking Talents Belgium is recruiting a Business Controller (junior accepted) for a permanent role in Zaventem. You will join a fast-growing aerospace group, report to the CFO, and support management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting with a focus on data-driven insights.

Salary ranges from 4,000€ to 5,500€ gross monthly, plus benefits such as company car, insurance, meal vouchers, and hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Strong Excel skills required.
• Cognos TM1 experience is a plus.
• Rigorous, organized and flexible mindset.
• Good BEGAAP and IFRS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Translate financial data into actionable insights for operational teams to drive data-based decision-making.
• Analyze working capital, CAPEX investments, customer/program scenarios, and variance tracking.
• Ensure strict compliance with internal policies and control frameworks.
• Support management reporting, financial statement preparation, and presentations in line with local GAAP and IFRS.
• Analyze EBITDA and cash flow variances; optimize and automate KPI reporting.
• Consolidate, validate, and guide departments through annual budgeting and regular forecasting processes.
• Review budget submissions for accuracy and monitor actual performance against targets.
• Track production costs, overheads, and standard costing to highlight margin improvement opportunities.
• Partner with operations to analyze cost drivers and maintain data accuracy.
• Drive finance digitalization, task automation, and reporting optimization.
• Assist with ERP upgrades/testing and support users with financial tools while flagging operational risks.
• Master group accounting flows and the balance sheet to support costing and medium-term planning.

Your Profile

• You have 2-5 years of experience in Accounting and Finance.
• You have a good knowledge of Excel and Cognos TM1 experience is an advantage.
• You are eager to learn, rigorous, organized, and flexible.
• You are a real team member and enjoy working with other departments.
• You have a good knowledge of BEGAAP and IFRS.
• You speak English and French and/or Dutch.
