NCIA Agency in Belgium seeks an experienced security monitoring specialist to deliver and maintain network visibility and threat detection capabilities for CSOC operations.

You will configure, operate, and support monitoring platforms (Cisco Firepower, Corelight, NetWitness) across multiple sites, while ensuring data quality, capacity planning, and collaborative incident response with analysts and other stakeholders.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2 years post-related experience.
• Alternatively, 6 years of extensive and progressive related experience may compensate for a degree.
• Expert knowledge of network security monitoring, cyber defense operations, and enterprise security monitoring environments.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale, distributed security monitoring deployments across multiple networks, sites, segments, or data centres.
• Hands-on enterprise experience with security monitoring and packet capture platforms such as Cisco Firepower, Corelight, and NetWitness.
• Strong communication and English proficiency.
• Certifications in cyber security such as CISM, CISSP, or GIAC Security.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver and maintain network visibility and security monitoring capabilities for CSOC operations.
• Act as a subject matter expert for operation, configuration, and lifecycle management of security monitoring technologies.
• Manage the lifecycle of security monitoring platforms including deployment, upgrades, and decommissioning.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize monitoring, traffic aggregation, and packet capture for data collection.
• Monitor platform health, data quality, retention, and performance.
• Identify and address visibility gaps impacting threat detection or security operations.
• Troubleshoot Linux, network, connectivity, and data collection issues.
• Support design and implementation of security monitoring solutions aligned with CSOC requirements.
• Support integration with wider security operations, analytics, and incident management.
