Kuehne+Nagel in Belgium is seeking a Business Development Manager for our Sea Logistics team to expand our market presence by acquiring new customers and developing opportunities in the reefer logistics sector.

You will identify, approach and win new customers, develop existing relationships across Belgium, negotiate commercial terms and manage the sales process from prospecting to closing, while monitoring market developments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in B2B sales, business development or commercial roles within logistics, freight forwarding or transportation
• Strong hunting mentality with a passion for acquiring and developing new business
• Excellent communication, persuasion and negotiation skills
• Commercial mindset combined with the ability to build trusted customer relationships
• Knowledge of reefer logistics, perishables or sea freight is an advantage, but not essential
• Fluent in Dutch, French and English

Responsabilités

• Identify, approach and win new customers within the reefer and perishable goods market
• Develop existing customer relationships and uncover opportunities for further business growth across Belgium
• Build long‑term relationships with decision‑makers and key stakeholders
• Understand customer supply chains and develop customized sea logistics solutions
• Negotiate commercial agreements and manage the sales process from prospecting to closing
• Monitor market developments, competitor activities and business opportunities within the reefer logistics sector
