Rhox in Belgium is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to drive delivery across cross-functional agile teams. You will facilitate ceremonies, protect the team from distractions and coach stakeholders to interact effectively, enabling smoother project progress.

The role emphasizes Kanban, Jira-based reporting, delivery ownership and continuous improvement across dependencies within a complex organisation. English plus FR or NL proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• At least six years of relevant experience in agile delivery.
• Expert knowledge of agile methodology and techniques, including Kanban.
• Experience with Jira and agile reporting and follow-up tools.
• Understanding of automated unit testing, automated functional testing and continuous integration tooling.
• Sound knowledge of software development methodology and project management methodology.
• Ability to combine agile coaching with ownership of delivery.
• Experience in large organisations, managing multiple dependencies in complex environments.
• Experience working with multicultural teams.
• Communication, organisation, teamwork and knowledge sharing skills, with a positive, pragmatic Agile mindset.

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and other meetings, keeping the agreed cadence.
• Track methodology milestones, team capacity, velocity and delivery progress.
• Support Product Owner backlog work and the team’s Sprint Backlog and Definition of Done.
• Coach and challenge the team, encouraging gradual self-organisation and continuous improvement.
• Remove barriers, protect the team from distractions, and report risks, issues and agile adoption.

A large financial organisation is improving software delivery through cross-functional agile teams. This senior Scrum Master role combines Kanban, Jira-based reporting and delivery ownership, with coaching across multiple dependencies and stakeholders.

The mission

The Scrum Master is the reference point for applying agile methods across the project team. You make the approach understood, guide the team towards self-organisation and help stakeholders interact with it effectively. You also protect the team from internal and external distractions that reduce delivery focus.

Your day-to-day work covers delivery follow-up, agile reporting and the practical use of the development process. You facilitate Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Planning and Retrospectives. You support the Product Owner with the Product Backlog, help the team maintain the Sprint Backlog and Definition of Done, and track capacity and velocity for planning and progress. The work requires coordination across multiple dependencies in a complex organisation.
