The Internationale Deutsche Schule Brüssel seeks an IT professional to manage daily operations and maintain the school's ICT infrastructure. You will support staff with a client-oriented mindset, advise on improvements, and implement new solutions across hardware and software.

This role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, proficiency with Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Windows 10, and the ability to communicate with non-IT partners.

Qualifications

• Motivated IT allrounder with 3-5 years relevant experience
• Expertise in providing 1st Level support for a small to medium organization
• Expertise in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows 10 and network technology
• Able to communicate with partners with limited IT background when proposing new solutions or changes
• Ideally some project management experience

Responsabilités

• Responsible for the daily operation of the School's Information- and Communication Infrastructure
• Maintenance of all hardware and software components used in the school (server, antivirus, backups, networks, firewalls, video conference equipment, endpoints, telephony)
• Ensure the security of all IT systems (patches, configurations, antivirus)
• Ensure IT services are available during school hours (7:30–17:30) and outside hours when required
• Manage school-provided mobile devices
• Installation and testing of new systems and training
• Create and maintain documentation of ICT systems
• Advise on system changes or new products to improve IT landscape
