Job summary

AManco S.A., part of the Arendt group, is seeking a Risk Manager on a 6-month contract to implement and maintain the risk management framework for its alternative investment funds. The role focuses on identifying, monitoring, and reporting fund risks in line with AIFMD and related regulations.

You will review policies, set up risk reporting, onboard funds, and support governance with risk metrics, including ESG considerations for SFDR funds. Fluency in English and French is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Fluent in English and French with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interest in alternative investments and asset management risk environment.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, rigorous, and well-organized with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Team-oriented and able to work autonomously with ownership.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel; SQL knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review department policies and procedures and their implementation.
• Define and produce regulatory risk reporting solutions with the Risk Management team.
• Prepare materials for the Client & Business Acceptance Committee and new projects.
• Set-up and manage day-to-day fund risk monitoring across asset classes.
• Support the Head of Risk Management in risk profiling and reporting.
• Attend Investment Committee meetings and prepare risk review materials.
• Produce risk reports for governing bodies and attend Board meetings.
• Support risk management improvements and governance development.
• Assist in year-end audits and respond to auditors’ requests.
• Contribute to ESG risk management for SFDR article 8/9 funds.
