Advanzia Bank in Luxembourg is seeking a Risk Management Officer to strengthen our risk governance. You will monitor risk data, validate models, and provide analyses to guide decision-making in a fast-growing, digitally focused bank.

The role is based in Luxembourg and offered as a full-time CDI contract. You will develop risk reporting, contribute to risk strategy documents, and support stress testing and regulatory compliance while collaborating across teams worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, economics, finance or a related field.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience in a Risk Management or similar role.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office; experience with Python, R and SQL.

Responsabilités

• Perform risk monitoring and data collection: gather/analyze risk data, track KRIs and escalate breaches.
• Support independent risk model validation and ongoing model monitoring.
• Provide risk analysis to support the bank’s risk steering and management decisions.
• Develop and maintain Risk Management reporting (ICAAP/ILAAP, liquidity, KRI, scorecard).
• Contribute to strategic Risk Management documentation (Risk and Own Funds Strategy, Risk Appetite, Recovery Plan).
• Support design and execution of stress testing exercises to assess resilience under adverse scenarios.
• Monitor regulatory developments and support implementation of new regulatory requirements.

About the job | Your responsibilities

Perform risk monitoring and data collection: gather and analyse risk data, track key risk indicators (KRIs) and elevate potential breaches

Support independent risk model validation and ongoing model monitoring

Provide risk analysis to support the bank’s risk steering and management decisions

Develop and maintain Risk Management reporting, including internal and regulatory reports (e.g. ICAAP and ILAAP report, liquidity reporting, KRI reporting and scorecard monitoring)

Contribute to strategic Risk Management documentation (Risk and Own Funds Strategy, Risk Appetite Statement, Recovery Plan, etc.)

Support the design and execution of stress testing exercises assessing the bank’s resilience under adverse scenarios, ensuring capital and liquidity adequacy

Monitor regulatory developments and support the implementation of new regulatory requirements

About you | Your background, skills and personality

Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, economics, finance or a related field

Minimum three years of relevant experience in a Risk Management or a similar role

Strong command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Experience with statistical tools and programming languages, particularly Python, R and SQL

Solid understanding of banking risk management and regulatory framework

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
