Job summary

Leica Biosystems, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment for customers across the Benelux region. The role is based in Belgium with remote work options and reports to the Service Team Leader.

You will travel to customer sites for installations and repairs, support preventive maintenance planning, and collaborate with sales and TAC to ensure fast, effective service. Fluency in English, Dutch and French is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or vocational degree in Mechanical or Electronic direction.
• Fluent in English, Dutch and French.
• Excellent communicator with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Able to communicate issues and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Visiting customers for installations, preventive maintenance, repairs, fault analysis and upgrades.
• Contribute to Customer Satisfaction, Return Call Rate and Preventive Maintenance Planning.
• Provide input to improve product reliability and feedback to business units and field services.
• Cooperate with the Technical Assistance Centre Support Team for smooth processes and information flow.
• Work closely with Sales teams to communicate opportunities and escalations.
