ITS Group S.A. in Belgium invites a SCADA Software Engineer to join a team supporting a 24/7 SCADA platform for real-time power balancing across European markets.

You will develop and maintain the real-time industrial system, contribute to both backend and frontend, and ensure high availability in a demanding environment. The role emphasizes scalable software, cybersecurity in ICT/OT, and collaboration with analysts, dispatchers, and engineers.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in IT, Software Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• SCADA systems development and maintenance.
• Understanding of industrial control systems.
• Knowledge of electricity production and power grid transmission fundamentals.
• Understanding of critical 24/7 operational environments.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain a real-time SCADA platform for power balancing operations.
• Contribute to backend and frontend development activities.
• Build scalable, robust, and maintainable software solutions.
• Support integration of flexibility assets and real-time operational requirements.
• Participate in Agile/SAFe delivery with analysts, dispatchers, and architects.
• Ensure system reliability, availability, and operational continuity for business-critical applications.
• Contribute to on-call support after onboarding.
