BDO is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of digital technology projects. You will manage relationships with Global Office departments and business services, ensuring governance, quality, and timely progress reporting to executives.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in project management, Prince2 qualifications, and experience with agile and waterfall methods, coordinating with analysts and external providers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as a project manager, preferably in a professional service environment.
• Prince2 qualified (or experience in Prince2 principles)
• Experience with both Agile and waterfall methodologies; tailoring your approach per project environment.

Responsabilités

• Ensure projects follow project management best practices and reporting processes used by Global A&A.
• Work closely with Business Analysts and Change Management on projects throughout their lifecycle.
• Produce and maintain project documentation to a high quality and on a timely basis; including bi-weekly reports and project plans.
• Run regular project board meetings and liaise with board members and stakeholders at various levels.
• Take ownership of projects, build relationships, and organize resources.
• Liaise with third party providers where appropriate.
• Understand inflight and upcoming changes in project requirements.
• Plan and design outcome-focused projects, monitor progress, identify risks, and take corrective action.
• Coordinate underlying workstreams and ensure outputs meet requirements within time, quality, cost constraints.
• Identify and initiate additional activities wherever gaps exist.
• Regularly report to sponsor and governance forums.

Position: Project Manager

As an experienced Project Manager within the team, you will be required to manage a variety of projects with a focus on digital technology products. The role will involve building strong relationships both with the Global Office departments and business services teams and working with key stakeholders from across the business, ensuring that good governance and project standards are maintained and reporting regularly to executives on progress.

Key accountabilities

• Ensuring that all projects follow project management best practices and reporting processes already used by Global A&A
• Working closely with Business Analysts and Change Management on projects throughout their lifecycle
• Producing and maintaining project documentation to a high-quality and on a timely basis; including bi-weekly reports, project plans, etc.
• Running regular project board meetings (when appropriate to the project) and liaising with your board members and stakeholders at various levels as required.
• Taking ownership of your projects, building relationships, and organising resource
• Liaising with third party providers where appropriate
• Understand the inflight and upcoming changes in project business requirements(s)
• Plan and design ‘outcome focused’ projects, monitor progress against agreed parameters, identify key risks, resolve issues and initiate timely corrective action
• Ensure underlying workstreams are coordinated
• Resolve risks and issues
• Ensure outputs meet requirements within time, quality, cost constraints
• Identify and initiate additional activities wherever gaps exist
• Regularly report to your sponsor and other governance forums

Qualifications and Experience

• Min 5 years of experience as a project manager or similar position, preferably in a professional service environment
• Prince2 qualified (or experience in working within Prince2 project management principles)
• Experience of both Agile and waterfall project management methodologiesProven experience in tailoring your project management approach and techniques

according to the project environment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills

Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills, with an ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and drive forward change
