• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in banking, consulting, or a related industry.
• Knowledge of banking services such as lending and daily banking.
• Experience with process optimization, RPA and AI.
• Strong process analysis and business analysis skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with clients and internal teams.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Fluent in Dutch, French and English.
• Understanding of ESG impact on banking.

What will you be doing?

As a Senior Consultant – Banking Transformation at BDO, you'll lead initiatives to enhance operational excellence, reduce costs, and elevate quality in banking operations. Your role extends beyond traditional consulting as you collaborate closely with clients to identify potential process improvements, automations, and opportunities for AI implementation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Improving operational excellence: Implementing strategies to streamline processes and optimize efficiency, resulting in cost reduction and enhanced quality.
• Identifying process improvements and automations: Leveraging your expertise to uncover opportunities for streamlining workflows and automating repetitive tasks.
• Discovering potential for implementing AI: Identifying areas where AI technologies can be implemented to enhance decision‑making and efficiency in existing processes.
• Capturing requirements for application improvement or development: Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable requirements for software development.
• Digitizing manual processes or improving old digitizations: Driving digital transformation by digitizing manual processes and enhancing existing digital solutions.

• Possess knowledge of and experience in banking services such as lending, daily banking, etc.
• Have experience with process optimization, RPA, and AI.
• Demonstrate outstanding process analysis and business analysis skills.
• Excel in analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Can work collaboratively with clients and internal teams.
• Bring strong leadership and project management skills.
• Are fluent in Dutch, French and English

• Are able to identify new project opportunities at clients and are motivated to contribute to the sales process.
