Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience in banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of credit, risk management, or lending processes.

• Experience interfacing between business and IT with technical affinity.
• Experience with AI tools in a VDI environment is a plus.
• Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and influencing skills.
• Ability to operate autonomously in a complex environment and drive progress.
• Fluent in French and/or Dutch, English.

Project Manager – Record Credits Transformation Office

Mission

The Record Credits Transformation Office is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong banking background to support the delivery of strategic transformation initiatives related to credit risk management processes.

The consultant will be responsible for driving project execution, coordinating stakeholders across business and IT functions, and steering complex risk-related initiatives. The role is intended to complement and support the Process Officer/Process Manager, allowing them to focus primarily on process design, content, and business challenge activities, while the Project Manager assumes ownership of project governance, coordination, planning, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate complex transformation initiatives within the credit and risk management domain.
• Align diverse stakeholders across business, operations, risk, compliance, and IT teams, ensuring decisions are made and commitments are delivered.
• Lead project governance, planning, status reporting, issue management, risk tracking, and dependency management.
• Facilitate the definition and translation of business requirements into actionable implementation plans.
• Act as a bridge between business teams and technical teams, translating business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
• Support the implementation of process improvements while ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Drive execution and follow-up of action plans, ensuring timely resolution of issues and obstacles.
• Prepare steering committees and management reporting for senior stakeholders.
• Support a complex risk management process involving multiple stakeholders, systems, and governance layers.

Required Profile

• Proven experience (8+ years) in project management within the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of credit, risk management, or lending-related processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder transformation programs.
• Experience working at the interface between business and IT teams, with sufficient technical affinity to understand system impacts, data flows, and implementation constraints.
• Ability to setup an AI tool within a VDI environment would be a plus.
• Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and influencing skills.
• Ability to operate autonomously in a complex organizational environment and drive progress without direct authority.
• Strong communication and executive reporting capabilities.
• Fluent in French and/or Dutch, English.
