Centum Recruitment International Limited is assisting a major finance sector client in recruiting a Programme Manager for a contract role through June 2027. The role requires 10+ years of programme management experience and fluency in English; French and/or Dutch are highly desirable to support local stakeholders.

You will define program objectives, coordinate across management and project managers, monitor progress, and guide cross-project dependencies while ensuring compliance and governance

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the management of complex projects or a program of projects.
• Very good knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Strong organizational insight; familiar with various IT systems.

Responsabilités

• Agree on program objectives with management and stakeholders.
• Represent the client's and organisation's interests.
• Monitor the progress of the projects in the program.
• Provide the involved project managers with a program perspective (purpose and status).
• Act as a sounding board for ideas and approaches to solving project issues that have program impacts.
• Identify and manage cross-project dependencies.
• Identify and manage program risks and issues.
• Monitor individual project progress, and support project-level activity when required.
• Estimation and follow-up of the program cost.
• Reporting towards line management and stakeholders.
• Adhere to policies and procedures defined by Compliance, Permanent Control and Operational Risk.
• Sponsor of the projects in the program.
• Part of the steering committee of the program’s projects.
• Acts as escalation path for project managers in the project.
• Foresees budget for the program’s projects.

Programme Manager

Our client, a major player in the finance sector, is seeking a Programme Manager to join the team on a contract assignment running until June 2027. Candidates should have 10 years plus experience as a Programme Manager. English is the working language but French and / or Dutch language skills are highly desirable.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• agree on program objectives with management and stakeholders
• represent the client's and organisation's interests
• monitor the progress of the projects in the program
• provide the involved project managers with a program perspective (purpose and status)
• act as a sounding board for ideas and approaches to solving project issues that have program impacts
• identify and manage cross-project dependencies
• identify and manage program risks and issues
• monitor individual project progress, and support project-level activity when required
• estimation and follow-up of the program cost
