Belfius is seeking an experienced Transformation Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives strengthening risk management, compliance, governance and operational capabilities. You will work across Audit, NFR, Compliance, Operations and IT to translate requirements into pragmatic, value-driven solutions.

You drive planning, scope, budget, risks, testing, implementation and change management while navigating regulatory expectations and organizational challenges.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading transformation or IT projects using Agile, Waterfall or hybrid methodologies.
• Strong project management capabilities, including scope, planning, budget, risk, testing and dependencies.
• Experience with Jira, Microsoft Project and/or ServiceNow PPM.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across Business, Risk, Compliance, Audit and IT.
• Strong communication, facilitation and change management skills.
• Familiarity with Non-Financial Risk (NFR), compliance and audit-related environments.
• Ability to map AS-IS and TO-BE processes and validate implementations.
• Strong leadership, resilience and attention to detail.

As a Transformation Project Manager, you lead strategic and cross-functional transformation initiatives that help Belfius strengthen its risk management, compliance, governance and operational capabilities in response to evolving business, regulatory and technological requirements.

Working at the intersection of Business, Risk and Technology, you bring structure to complex environments, align diverse stakeholder groups and drive projects from initiation through implementation. You combine strong project management expertise with the analytical mindset and adaptability required to quickly understand new processes, regulatory expectations and organizational challenges.

You are not a project manager who operates solely at governance level. You actively engage with the content, challenge assumptions and collaborate closely with subject matter experts across Audit, Non-Financial Risk (NFR), Compliance, Operations and IT to translate requirements into pragmatic, sustainable and value-driven solutions. You are comfortable switching between strategic discussions and detailed execution activities while maintaining a clear view of overall project objectives.

You take ownership of project planning, scope, budget, risks, dependencies, testing, implementation and change management activities. You drive stakeholder engagement, facilitate decision-making and ensure delivery remains on track while balancing business needs, regulatory requirements and technical constraints.

A key aspect of the role is supporting organizational change and user adoption. You help teams navigate new ways of working, manage resistance effectively and ensure solutions are embedded successfully within the organization.

Where required, you analyze and map current-state (AS-IS) and future-state (TO-BE) processes, validate implementations and identify opportunities for optimization. You contribute to the successful delivery of solutions that are scalable, sustainable and aligned with Belfius' long-term objectives.

Your profile

You are an experienced project manager with a proven track record of delivering complex IT and transformation initiatives, ideally within banking, financial services or another regulated environment.

You bring:

• 5+ years of experience leading transformation or IT projects using Agile, Waterfall or hybrid methodologies.
• Strong project management capabilities, including scope, planning, budget, risk, testing, analysis and dependency management.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project and/or ServiceNow PPM.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align Business, Risk, Compliance, Audit and IT teams.
• Strong communication, facilitation and change management skills, including driving user adoption and managing resistance.
• Familiarity with Non-Financial Risk (NFR), compliance and audit-related environments.
• The ability to map AS-IS and TO-BE processes, challenge assumptions and validate implementations.
• Strong leadership, resilience and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience with ServiceNow GRC (Risk Assessments, Issue Management, Control Objectives, Privacy Management).
• Banking, Risk, Compliance or Audit transformation experience.
