NISH Tech BV in Brussels, Belgium, is seeking a Product Owner to drive Scenarios & Grid Solutions in the energy sector. You will translate business needs into priorities, define backlog items and collaborate with energy experts, IT and data teams to deliver value.

Join a major digital transformation program focused on energy transition, grid development and long-term planning, guiding multidisciplinary teams and ensuring delivery of customer-centric data solutions.

Qualifications

Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst or similar in an Agile, digital or product-oriented environment.
Strong understanding of the energy sector and/or TSO Grid Development context.
Understanding of grid studies, scenarios, long-term planning and portfolio prioritization is highly desirable.
Experience translating expert and business user needs into: Product backlogs, Epics and user stories, Acceptance criteria, Delivery priorities.
Experience making pragmatic trade-offs between business value, feasibility, risk and delivery constraints.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to guide and influence multidisciplinary teams without direct hierarchical authority.
Fluent English.
Professional communication skills in Dutch and/or French.

Responsabilités

Define and communicate the product vision, priorities and roadmap for the assigned product team.
Own, prioritize and continuously improve the product backlog, including epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.
Run continuous discovery with expert communities and end users to validate needs, assumptions and expected outcomes.
Translate business and expert user needs into clear product outcomes and actionable requirements.
Coordinate sprint and release planning with other Product Owners and manage dependencies across teams.
Align stakeholders across business, IT, Data and expert communities.
Ensure expectations remain clear regarding scope, value and product direction.
Accept completed user stories and ensure appropriate testing and documentation.
Support and monitor adoption of delivered capabilities by business users.
Promote Agile ways of working, continuous improvement and pragmatic innovation.
Contribute to improving efficiency, data quality and study execution.
