Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst or similar in an Agile, digital or product-oriented environment.
• Strong understanding of the energy sector and/or TSO Grid Development context.
• Understanding of grid studies, scenarios, long-term planning and portfolio prioritization is highly desirable.
• Experience translating expert and business user needs into: Product backlogs, Epics and user stories, Acceptance criteria, Delivery priorities.
• Experience making pragmatic trade-offs between business value, feasibility, risk and delivery constraints.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to guide and influence multidisciplinary teams without direct hierarchical authority.
• Fluent English.
• Professional communication skills in Dutch and/or French.

Job Overview

The role is part of a major digital transformation initiative supporting the energy transition, grid development and long-term electricity system planning.

The Product Owner will be responsible for maximizing the value delivered by one of the product teams within the Scenarios & Grid Studies Solutions (SGS) product line. The role focuses on translating product vision and business needs into clear priorities, actionable requirements and a delivery-ready backlog.

The Product Owner will act as a bridge between energy/grid development experts, business stakeholders and digital delivery teams, helping build data-driven, customer-centric solutions for scenario management, grid studies, planning and decision support.

Key Responsibilities
