Job summary

Pauwels Consulting, Brussels-based, seeks an experienced professional to drive project and portfolio management across ICT initiatives. You will support management and project leaders in realizing strategic transformation with a clear focus on high-impact digital projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in PMO, program, or portfolio management within a medium-to-large organization.
• 5+ years of ICT project management experience including project support and methodology compliance.
• 3+ years of experience in management reporting, project reporting, or providing policy advice.

This role involves supporting management and project leaders in realizing strategic transformation initiatives while ensuring a clear focus on high-impact digital projects.

• Support project leaders and product owners during the initiation, execution, and follow-up of various ICT projects.
• Monitor project timelines, risks, dependencies, and progress to ensure high-quality delivery across the portfolio.
• Perform quality control on project documentation and reporting to provide accurate management information.
• Facilitate decision‑making processes and capacity planning to optimize the performance of the project portfolio.
• Collaborate with management to align strategic goals with the portfolio and provide data‑driven insights for prioritization.
• Contribute to the further professionalization of project and portfolio management methodologies within the organization.

• 5+ years of experience in PMO, program, or portfolio management within a medium‑to‑large organization.
• 5+ years of experience in ICT project management including project support and methodology compliance.
• 3+ years of experience in management reporting, project reporting, or providing policy advice.
• Experience with the simultaneous follow-up of multiple ICT projects or programs.
• Experience with stakeholder management within complex ICT project environments.
• Proactive and solution‑oriented with a focus on organizational development.
• You are native in Dutch.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Prince2, PMI, or PMBOK methodologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of asset management tools, specifically configuration management and license management.
• Previous experience working within the public sector or governmental organizations.
