Tiense Suikerraffinaderij in Merksem seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead production operations, coordinate maintenance and supply chain activities, and drive capital projects with a hands-on approach.

You will manage day-to-day operations, coach team leaders and operators, and promote safety, food safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a collaborative, autonomous environment.

Formación

• Master degree in Engineering (or equivalent through experience).
• 5–10 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with maintenance management and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proven leadership and coaching skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and food safety standards.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day production operations of the manufacturing plant.
• Lead, coach, and develop team leaders and production operators.
• Coordinate and optimize production planning and supply chain activities.
• Act as project leader for investment and capital expenditure projects.
• Promote a strong culture of safety, food safety, quality, and operational excellence.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes and equipment with data-driven decisions.
