Tiense Suikerraffinaderij in Merksem, Belgium, seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead production operations and coordinate maintenance, planning and supply chain activities. You will inspire and develop a team while driving safety, quality and continuous improvement in a hands-on environment.

The role reports to the Plant Manager and includes leadership of operators and team leaders, with a focus on reliability, efficiency and project execution within a modern manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Strong coaching and team leadership skills.
• Good knowledge of safety and food-safety standards.
• Experience in maintenance management and continuous improvement.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day production operations at the plant.
• Lead, coach and develop team leaders and operators.
• Coordinate maintenance for maximum equipment reliability.
• Coordinate production planning and supply chain activities.
• Act as project leader for capital expenditure initiatives.
• Promote safety, food safety, quality and operational excellence.
