Job summary

Tiense Suikerraffinaderij is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the Merksem production plant. You will manage daily operations, drive safety culture, and coordinate production planning with maintenance and supply chain teams.

You will coach leaders and operators, oversee capital projects, and foster a data‑driven, hands‑on culture focused on continuous improvement and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Engineering or equivalent through experience.
• At least 5–10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven coaching and motivational skills to develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day production operations at the manufacturing plant.
• Lead, coach and develop team leaders and production operators.
• Coordinate and optimize production planning and supply chain activities.
• Act as project leader or core team member for investment and capital expenditure projects.
• Promote safety, food safety, quality, and operational excellence.
