NES Fircroft seeks a Freelance Planning Engineer for Belgium with 5–7+ years of planning experience in field/construction environments. The role covers detailed scheduling, progress tracking, forecasting, and coordinating subcontractor schedules on major industrial projects (petrochemical/oil & gas).

Primavera P6 is essential; fluent English is required, Dutch is a plus. ASAP start; contract until 31 December 2026 with potential extension to April 2027.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7+ years' Planning Engineering experience
• Strong site/field construction experience
• Petrochemical, refinery, oil & gas or similar major industrial project experience
• Expert Primavera P6 skills
• Progress measurement, productivity reporting and forecasting experience
• Contractor/subcontractor schedule coordination experience
• Strong reporting and stakeholder communication skills
• Fluent English
• Dutch advantageous

Important: this is not a purely office-based planning position. Proven field/site construction experience is required.

We’re looking for someone with:

• 5 to 7+ years' Planning Engineering experience

The role will cover detailed scheduling, progress measurement, forecasting, subcontractor interfaces, schedule review meetings and weekly/monthly reporting.
