NES Fircroft is recruiting an experienced Piperack Commissioning Supervisor to support a major project in Antwerp, Belgium.

Reporting to the Project Commissioning Manager and Area Commissioning Superintendent, you'll lead commissioning execution for the Mechanical / Piping scope, ensuring systems are installed, tested, certified and safely handed over in line with contract requirements, procedures and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (or equivalent) with strong Mechanical/Piping pre-commissioning experience.
• Proven ability to solve problems in complex site environments.
• Strong organisation, reporting and document control discipline.
• Confident communicator across construction, vendors, subcontractors and client teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead commissioning planning and drive pre-commissioning plans and schedules.
• Supervise testing activities for Mechanical/Piping systems with vendors and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with Instrument teams to enable piping hook-ups.
• Develop and review commissioning test procedures (CTPs) and method statements.
• Maintain commissioning records and prepare reports.
• Ensure HSE compliance including RAMS / PTW / LOTO.
• Support final handover of systems with documentation.

NES Fircroft is recruiting for an experienced Piperack Commissioning Supervisor to support a major project in Antwerp, Belgium.

Reporting to the Project Commissioning Manager and Area Commissioning Superintendent, you'll lead commissioning execution for the Mechanical / Piping scope, ensuring systems are installed, tested, certified and safely handed over in line with contract requirements, procedures and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Commissioning planning
  • Build and drive pre-commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules
  • Align Mechanical/Piping activities with overall commissioning & project schedule
  • Review vendor procedures/reports and subcontractor method statements
• Testing, verification & execution
  • Supervise vendor and subcontractor testing activities for Mechanical/Piping systems
  • Coordinate with Instrument teams to enable hook-up from the piping side
  • Oversee cleaning, leak testing and reinstatement of assigned process systems
  • Drive Mechanical Completion at system/sub-system level per schedule
• Procedure / method development
  • Create and/or review commissioning test procedures (CTPs) and method statements
  • Identify temporary system requirements to enable testing
  • Plan vendor support schedules and specialist tools/equipment required
• Troubleshooting & quality
  • Identify issues during commissioning, coordinate corrective actions with site disciplines
  • Raise and manage NCRs where required to close out discrepancies
• Documentation & reporting
  • Maintain accurate commissioning records: test results, punch lists, inspections, compliance docs
  • Prepare/review commissioning reports and close-out documentation
• Safety leadership
  • Ensure strict compliance with HSE requirements
  • Ensure RAMS / PTW / LOTO are correctly implemented
  • Act as PTW approver for subcontractor-issued permits (as applicable)
• Handover
  • Support final acceptance and system handover to operations with full documentation

Requirements (Skills & Experience)

• Engineering degree (or equivalent) and strong experience in Mechanical / Piping pre-commissioning & commissioning
• Solid problem-solving capability in complex site environments
• Strong organisation, reporting and document control discipline
• Confident communicator across construction, vendors, subcontractors and client teams

Eligibility / Logistics

• On-site role in Antwerp; Belgium/European-based candidates (or those able to work in Belgium for the project duration) are strongly preferred.
• European project experience and previous experience working on major industrial or energy projects would be highly advantageous.
