g2 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Freelance Piping Engineer to join an international engineering group on large-scale projects in Liège, Belgium.

You will design, size and engineer industrial piping systems, perform hydraulic calculations, support stress analysis, review specs, and coordinate with process, mechanical, and electrical teams. Hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Strong industrial piping engineering experience.
• Background in oil & gas, steel, furnaces, galvanising or process industries.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Experience with piping calculations and engineering standards.
• Available ASAP / at short notice.

Responsabilités

• Support piping stress analysis and equipment sizing.
• Prepare and review technical documentation and specifications.

• Support technical problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.

Freelance Piping Engineer - Liège, Belgium

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Piping Engineer to join an international engineering group working on large-scale industrial projects in Liège.

The role involves the design, sizing and engineering of industrial piping systems, supporting projects across steel, oil & gas, furnace, galvanising and heavy industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop industrial piping systems and layouts.
• Perform hydraulic, pressure-drop and piping calculations.
• Support piping stress analysis and equipment sizing.
• Prepare and review technical documentation and specifications.
• Evaluate suppliers and review technical proposals.
• Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Structural, Electrical and Instrumentation teams.
• Support technical problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Strong industrial piping engineering experience.
• Background in oil & gas, steel, furnaces, galvanising or process industries.
• Experience with piping calculations and engineering standards.

• Experience with AVEVA, CADMATIC, TEKLA or similar is advantageous.
• Available to start ASAP / at short notice.
