Responsabilités

• Coordinate construction, maintenance and multidisciplinary projects on site

We are looking for an experienced Projectleider / Werfopvolger to support the execution of construction, maintenance and multidisciplinary projects in a highly safety-focused industrial environment.

Location: Dessel, Belgium
Start: ASAP
Duration: Until 2 November 2026
Commitment: Full-time
Work model: 100% on-site
Rate: Undisclosed

Your Responsibilities

• Coordinate and follow up construction, maintenance and multidisciplinary projects
• Coordinate contractors and different executing parties on site
• Support project leaders and responsible project managers during the execution phase
• Plan and coordinate activities in time and space
• Ensure contractors have the required documentation, access and work permits
• Monitor technical progress, quality, planning and administrative requirements
• Act as the first-line point of contact for contractors on site
• Lead contractor meetings and contribute to site meetings
• Identify conflicts and issues proactively and coordinate appropriate solutions
• Maintain and update technical and construction documentation
• Document changes, deviations, milestones, reports and completed works
• Escalate major technical or operational issues when required

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure strict compliance with site safety regulations and applicable legislation
• Prepare or contribute to post-intervention files, Safety & Health Plans and coordination records
• Manage permits for hazardous work and evaluate task risk analyses
• Conduct kick-off and toolbox meetings
• Monitor correct use of PPE and compliance with site safety standards
• Follow up practical site conditions, including waste management and safe working practices
• Contribute to incident reporting, fact-finding and preventive measures

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve site processes and ways of working
• Implement lessons learned and improvement initiatives
• Develop and roll out improved processes and working methods
• Stay up to date with relevant legislation, safety standards and technical developments

Ideal Profile

• Proven experience in project/site coordination
• Strong communication skills and sufficient maturity to manage contractors and stakeholders
• Experience coordinating the execution of works on site
• Good understanding of project management, contract management and technical documentation
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Able to maintain overview across multiple projects, priorities and stakeholders
• Ownership-driven and process-oriented
• Experience working with technical specifications / technical tender documentation
• Comfortable managing external partners and contractors
• Dutch-speaking at native/bilingual level
