Job summary

Sartorius is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to support Brussels or Helsinki bases, ensuring seamless order execution and proactive service throughout the order-to-cash lifecycle. You will collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain and Finance to deliver reliable customer service daily, handling orders, inquiries and issues with a strong customer focus.

This role emphasizes clear communication and data integrity while supporting process improvements.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in Customer Service, Order Management, or Order-to-Cash operations.
• Good understanding of order-to-cash and customer order management processes.
• Strong customer orientation and service mindset.
• Structured and detail-oriented way of working.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and prioritization skills.
• Good IT Skills: Microsoft, CRM (ideally Salesforce), SAP.
• Fluency in English, Dutch and French are considered a real plus.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders throughout the entire order-to-cash lifecycle by ensuring accurate order entry, timely updates, and compliant handling within ERP and CRM systems.
• Manage customer inquiries, complaints, commercial clarifications, and order-related issues while coordinating effective solutions with Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
• Monitor deliveries, backorders, shipment delays, returns to proactively identify risks and minimize customer impact.
• Communicate regularly with customers regarding order status, delivery changes.
• Maintain accurate customer, contractual, and order-related data while ensuring transaction integrity and compliance with internal processes.
• Prepare operational reports and customer complaint documentation and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless customer experience.
