Job summary

Space Applications Services NV/SA is seeking an IT Operations professional to join the Galileo Hosting operations team in Redu, Belgium. You will help operate, maintain and evolve hosting infrastructure and services for Galileo-related systems, with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in IT operations, infrastructure operations, service operations, network operations or other operational engineering environments.
• Good understanding of operational processes, incident management and troubleshooting.
• Ability to analyse technical issues and drive issues to resolution.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation and reports.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Willingness to work on-site at ESEC Redu and participate in on-call support when required.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations and service delivery activities for Galileo Hosting infrastructure and services.
• Monitor system health, service performance and operational status.
• Analyse and investigate anomalies, incidents and service disruptions, and contribute to their resolution.
• Support operation, maintenance and evolution of IT, network and hosting infrastructure.
• Participate in testing, validation and deployment of infrastructure, software and system updates.
• Maintain operational procedures, technical documentation and configuration records.
• Contribute to automation and continuous improvement of operational workflows.
• Interface with customers, service providers and project stakeholders as required.
• Participate in on-call activities and service support when required.
• Support security, quality and service continuity activities.
