Job summary

Join is seeking a reliable Local IT & Operations Support Assistant based in or near Leuven, Belgium. This freelance on-demand role involves occasional on-site IT, logistics and operational support across multiple locations in/around Leuven.

Initial tasks include scouting office locations, coordinating shipments, and liaising with local service providers. Candidates should have a valid driving licence, car access, and be comfortable traveling to different sites.

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence and access to a car.
• Comfortable travelling independently to different locations in the Leuven area.
• Basic knowledge of laptops, peripherals and common IT troubleshooting.
• Good organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Reliable and able to follow remote instructions from international teams.

Responsibilities

• Visit and assess potential offices, coworking spaces, storage locations or premises identified by Azurreo.
• Help scout suitable local locations based on requirements from the operations team.
• Take photographs/videos and collect practical information about locations.
• Verify accessibility, parking, connectivity, access arrangements and other practical factors.
• Attend scheduled visits with property representatives or local service providers.
• Provide clear feedback and documentation after site visits.
• Liaise with local vendors, couriers, property reps and service providers.
• Receive, prepare and coordinate shipments of laptops and IT equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment received, stored, assigned, shipped or returned.
• Carry out physical inventory checks and update digital records.
• Prepare, inspect and organise laptops, peripherals and other IT equipment.
• Provide basic on-site troubleshooting for laptops and connectivity.
• Follow instructions from IT and operations teams when on-site presence is needed.
• Take photos/record serial numbers to confirm completed work.
• Report damaged/missing/malfunctioning equipment promptly.
