Expeditors in Antwerpen, Belgium, seeks an Ocean Import Lead Agent to monitor compliance with OPS, optimize processes, and supervise daily operations. You will support pricing, routing, and client requests while mentoring staff and ensuring training targets are met.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 2 years of industry experience, and are fluent in English and Dutch, with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Dutch are required or preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; 2 years industry qualification expected.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsabilités

• Monitor compliance with OPS and applicable regulations.
• Understand department process flow and seek efficiency improvements.
• Ensure SOPs are followed and reports are utilized to supervise operations.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors and drive cost-efficient solutions.
• Support pricing, routing, and technical assistance for clients.
• Lead staff development, appraisals, and training adherence.
• Promote the company culture and 52 hours of staff training per year.
