Jobat is assisting a worldwide logistics provider in Antwerp to fill the role of Ocean Export Lead Agent. You will support the Manager and Supervisor with all Ocean Export activities, ensuring timely movement of freight and delivering exceptional customer service.

You will mentor the team, allocate workloads, prepare international documents, negotiate rates with vendors, and ensure accurate billing. The role emphasizes customer satisfaction and ongoing process improvements to boost efficiency

Responsabilités

• Assist the Manager and Supervisor with all aspects of the Ocean Export Department and ensure timely movement of freight and high-level customer service.
• Mentor your No. 2, allocate workloads within the team, and guide agents to meet training and performance standards.
• Prepare documents for international transportation, coordinate and negotiate rates with contracted vendors to secure space and services.
• Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing, and interact with customers to arrange international export shipments.
• Monitor shipment reports for total customer satisfaction and look for process improvements to boost efficiency.
• Audit files, review operational reports, and maintain strong relationships with vendors and customers.
