AG Solution is seeking a blended pre-sales and solution-delivery professional to bridge MES/data needs with commercial outcomes in Europe. You will participate in sales calls, build business cases, design MES-enabled solutions, and support implementations across pharma, food, and discrete manufacturing clients.

You will translate operational pain into credible MES/value stories, run discovery workshops, and craft proofs-of-concept while ensuring adoption on the shop floor and measurable KPIs

Qualifications

• Experience with MES platforms such as Siemens Opcenter, Werum PAS-X, Rockwell FTPC, Ignition, Aveva, TrakSYS or similar.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, ideally in pharma, food, chemicals, consumer goods, or discrete manufacturing.
• Ability to read data flows between MES, automation (PLC/SCADA), and higher-level systems (ERP, LIMS).
• Solid functional and technical mindset.

• Work with sales and account leads as the technical credibility in the room.

You bridge two worlds. On the technical side: MES and data, with a working sense of the automation and industrial IT/OT underneath them. On the commercial side: winning the trust of a prospect before a single line of code gets configured. Half your time, you help clients decide to move forward. The other half, you help them succeed once they do.

You're the technical and commercial face AG Solution brings to manufacturers across Wallonia, France, and French-speaking Switzerland.

What you'll do

Pre-sales & business development (≈ 50%)

• Join sales calls and client meetings early, translating operational pain points into a credible MES/data solution story.
• Build business cases: quantify the value of tracking & tracing, OEE, scheduling, or quality control improvements in terms a plant manager and a CFO both understand.
• Contribute to proposals, RFPs, and scoping documents — functional approach, timeline, risk areas, ballpark effort.
• Run discovery workshops with prospects to map current-state processes and surface the gap MES or a data platform closes.
• Prepare and deliver demos or proof-of-concepts that make abstract MES capability tangible for a non-technical audience.
• Work alongside sales and account leads as the technical credibility in the room — the person who can answer the hard "how" question on the spot.

Solution design & delivery (≈ 50%)

• Once a deal lands, design the solution: functional specifications, process mapping, data flows, and integration points with automation and ERP/LIMS.
• Support implementation with multidisciplinary AG Solution teams: configuration, functional testing, validation, deployment.
• Guide clients on their digital transformation roadmap — the steps, the impact on people and processes, the value delivered.
• Train and support end-users so new digital tools actually get adopted on the shop floor, not just installed.
• Monitor KPIs (quality, throughput, efficiency, downtime, compliance) to prove impact and refine the solution post go-live.

What we're looking for

Essential skills

Commercial

• Comfort operating in a commercial context: discovery conversations, business case building, proposal input — you don't need a sales quota to have sales instinct.
• Able to own a business case end-to-end: from the first client conversation to a defensible ROI number a CFO signs off on.
• Comfortable hearing "no" or "not yet" from a prospect and adjusting the pitch, rather than only delivering a scripted demo.

Technical

• Experience with MES platforms (Siemens Opcenter, Werum PAS-X, Rockwell FTPC, Ignition, Aveva, TrakSYS, or similar).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, ideally in pharma, food, chemicals, consumer goods, or discrete manufacturing.
• Ability to read data flows between MES, automation (PLC/SCADA), and higher-level systems (ERP, LIMS) - and a working grasp of what a data/analytics layer adds on top (dashboards, KPI reporting, early IIoT or cloud integration).
• A solid functional and technical mindset: you understand both the business need and the underlying system behavior.

General

• Strong communication skills — equally comfortable pitching value to a prospect's steering committee and explaining MES logic to an operator on the floor.
• Fluent in French and English — both required, no exceptions. You switch between them without losing precision.

Nice to have

Commercial

• Experience supporting bids, RFPs, or solution scoping during an active sales cycle.

Technical

• Experience in MES implementation projects (configuration, functional design, testing, commissioning).
• Understanding of industrial IT/OT principles (networks, databases, security basics).
• Hands-on configuration or engineering experience with PLC/SCADA systems — beyond reading the data they produce.
