AG Solution Group is seeking a Data / Business Analyst to turn operational data into actionable insights. You will build dashboards, gather requirements, and support process improvements across shop floor and business domains.

The role emphasizes analytical thinking, clear communication, and the ability to translate data into business narratives in collaboration with engineers and MES teams.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's or master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Turn a messy export from multiple systems into a single, insightful dashboard.
• Analytical and structured thinking; able to translate numbers into a story.
• Clear communicator capable of presenting insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Open and adaptable to using various data/reporting tools and learning what the job requires.
• Fluency in English and Dutch.

Responsabilités

• Collect, clean, and analyse operational and business data from production, quality, and planning systems.
• Build clear, actionable dashboards and reports for operational and management stakeholders.
• Gather and document business requirements for data, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
• Identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities in production and business processes.
• Support root-cause analysis for quality, downtime, or performance issues.
• Work closely with process engineers, MES consultants, and automation teams to align data needs with system capabilities.
• Document data flows, KPIs, and definitions to ensure consistent reporting across projects.
• Present findings and recommendations to client stakeholders in a clear, non-technical way.

About the job

As a Data / Business Analyst, you turn operational and business data into insight that helps industrial clients make better decisions. You combine analytical thinking with business understanding, building reports, dashboards, and requirements that support process improvement and digital projects across the shop floor and the business.

Your responsibilities include

• Collect, clean, and analyse operational and business data from production, quality, and planning systems.
• Build clear, actionable dashboards and reports for operational and management stakeholders.
• Gather and document business requirements for data, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
• Identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities in production and business processes.
• Support root-cause analysis for quality, downtime, or performance issues.
• Work closely with process engineers, MES consultants, and automation teams to align data needs with system capabilities.

Essential Skills

• A bachelor's or master’s degree in a relevant field
• You can take a messy export from three different systems and turn it into one dashboard that actually answers the question someone asked you.
• Analytical and structured way of thinking; comfortable working with numbers and translating them into a story.
• Clear communicator, able to present insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Open and adaptable to working with a variety of data and reporting tools - willing to learn what the job requires.
• Fluency in English and Dutch.

Nice to have

• Experience data/reporting tools
• Process mapping / BPMN experience is an asset.
• French is an asset.
• Affinity with or first experience in Lean Six Sigma / process improvement
• Exposure to manufacturing, industrial, or supply chain environments.
• Experience with or interest in regulated industries (pharma, biotech, food) is a plus.
