Job summary

EmpHire is seeking an experienced MES consultant to join an international technology and manufacturing consultancy. You will apply functional and technical MES expertise across platforms to optimise production, drive digital manufacturing and lead transformation initiatives.

You will advise on MES strategy, solution design and implementation while engaging senior stakeholders and mentoring team members.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in MES implementations.
• Experience delivering or leading full-cycle MES projects.

We are working with a leading international technology and manufacturing consultancy looking to strengthen its Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) team.

This is an opportunity to join an experienced team of manufacturing and digital transformation specialists, delivering advisory and implementation projects for major international clients.

You will use your functional and technical expertise across leading MES platforms to help manufacturers optimise production processes, implement digital manufacturing solutions and drive operational transformation.

You will play an important role in advising clients on MES strategy, solution design and implementation, while building relationships with senior stakeholders and supporting the development of the wider consulting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in manufacturing business process analysis, modelling and feasibility assessments relating to MES implementations.
• Define functional requirements and provide technical guidance to development and implementation teams.
• Design, configure, implement and test manufacturing processes and master data within MES platforms.
• Lead and support full-cycle MES implementation projects.
• Advise clients on MES strategy, digital manufacturing solutions and implementation approaches.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders and key client decision-makers.

• Develop innovative solutions and methodologies to improve manufacturing operations.
• Mentor junior consultants and share technical and functional MES expertise across the team.

Experience & Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience within MES implementations and manufacturing operations.
• Experience delivering or leading full-cycle MES implementation projects.
• Background in Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals or Medical Device manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of MES strategy, requirements gathering, solution design, prototyping and testing.
• Experience working with manufacturing processes and digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work with both technical teams and senior business stakeholders.
• Passion for smart manufacturing, Industry 4.0 and digital transformation.
• Experience with Körber PAS-X is highly desirable.
• Fluent English is essential; additional European languages are advantageous.
