Job summary

AETHER, a key partner for intrapreneurial projects in Belgium, seeks a medior Program Management Officer to strengthen its PMO team. You will establish an integrated approach covering budget, schedule, risks, reporting and PMO coordination within a major infrastructure program.

You will report to the Program Manager and work with project leaders, engineers, and stakeholders. The role includes coordinating PMO experts and leading reviews to identify bottlenecks and timely solutions.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in project or program management.
• PMO experience on large-scale infrastructure or CAPEX programs is preferred.
• PMI/PMP course or equivalent qualification is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and results-oriented mindset.
• Clear, concise communication for governance and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Define and continuously improve the program management framework for budget, schedule, risks, reporting and governance.
• Support integrated baselines for scope, schedule and budget and ensure traceability.
• Consolidate budgets, forecasts and risk provisions with clear explanations of variances.
• Facilitate risk and opportunity management and implement timely mitigations.
• Lead program scheduling, milestones, dependencies and alignment with project teams.
• Develop clear governance reporting for management and steering bodies.
• Ensure traceability between objectives, baselines, progress and decisions.
• Coordinate PMO activities and drive collaboration across the program team.
