Job summary

Dometic is seeking a Sales Manager for the Marine OEM team in the DACH & BNLX regions. You will drive growth by engaging OEM customers, shipyards, and naval architects, promoting HVAC solutions, and providing technical expertise.

The role requires a blend of technical acumen and commercial prowess, with travel across the DACH & BNLX markets and frequent collaboration with engineering teams to tailor systems for marine projects.

Qualifications

A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in sales engineering or business development within OEM marine, HVAC, or related tech.
Knowledge of DACH & BNLX markets, regulations and key players.
Strong ability to engage with OEM manufacturers, shipyards and project developers.
Excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills in English and at least one local language.

Responsibilities

Pursue new OEM opportunities with manufacturers, shipyards, and project developers in DACH & BNLX.
Qualify and convert leads to achieve revenue targets.
Develop sales strategies to penetrate markets and maintain customer relationships.
Represent the company at industry trade shows and events to generate leads.
Provide technical guidance to clients on HVAC solutions for marine vessels.
