Michael Page International (Belgium) is seeking a Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer for a 6-month freelance on-site assignment in Belgium. You will assess manufacturability of designs, create and maintain production documentation, and support cross-functional teams to optimise processes and costs.

The role requires a degree in engineering and 3–5 years of experience, with strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor) and ERP/BOM management (SAP, Dynamics).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing/industrial design or similar production-focused role.
• Strong CAD and ERP/BOM experience.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.

Responsabilités

• Assess manufacturability and feasibility of designs.
• Create and maintain production documentation including CAD models, BOMs, work instructions, and ERP master data.
• Provide technical support to production teams, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, and contribute to root cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Optimise designs, materials, and production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Product Management, and Engineering teams to ensure technical alignment.
