Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to assess manufacturability and feasibility of customer designs within a technical, project-driven production environment. You will create and maintain CAD models, BOMs, and ERP master data, while supporting production teams to resolve issues and drive cost and process improvements.

The role requires a 3–5 year background in manufacturing/industrial engineering, strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor), and ERP experience (SAP/Dynamics).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, Design Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, technical design, or similar production-focused roles.
• Strong proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor) and experience managing BOMs, routings, and technical master data in ERP systems (SAP, Dynamics, or similar).
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, design for manufacturability principles, technical problem solving, and cost estimation in an industrial environment.
• Analytical, detail-oriented with strong communication and cross-functional collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

• Assess manufacturability and technical feasibility of customer designs; identify risks and optimisation opportunities.
• Create and maintain production documentation: drawings, CAD models, work instructions, BOMs, and ERP master data.
• Provide technical support to production teams; troubleshoot issues; contribute to root cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Optimise designs, materials, and production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Product Management, and Engineering to ensure alignment and operational excellence.

• Strong proficiency with CAD software (such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor) and experience managing BOMs, routings, and technical master data in ERP systems (SAP, Dynamics, or similar).
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, design for manufacturability principles, technical problem solving, and cost estimation within an industrial environment.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and hands-on professional with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
• Fluent in English and Dutch
