Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Brussels City is offering a culinary trainee internship in Brussels for at least one month starting in 2026. You will join either the restaurant or banqueting team to develop practical culinary skills under an experienced Chef.

Responsibilities

Assist the Chef and kitchen team with food preparation.
Help to prepare ingredients and set up workstations.
Assist with the preparation of starters, main courses and desserts under the Chef’s supervision.
Help to clean and maintain workstations, kitchen utensils and equipment.
Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety standards throughout all kitchen operations.
Support the team in organising each service while ensuring quality and efficiency.
Contribute to the creation and testing of new recipes under the Chef’s supervision.
Ensure every dish leaves the kitchen with an impeccable presentation.
