Resolvo Engineering is seeking a Junior Technical Support Engineer to combine engineering knowledge with customer interaction, product demonstrations and training. You will become a specialist in advanced sensor and laser technologies used in industrial environments.

The role involves presenting, demonstrating and explaining technology to diverse audiences, collaborating across Europe, and occasional travel to international offices and events.

Competenze

• A degree in a relevant engineering or technical discipline.
• Up to two years of professional experience. Recent graduates welcome.

We are looking for a Junior Technical Support Engineer to join an international technology-driven organisation specialising in advanced sensor and laser technology. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an engineer with up to two years of experience who wants to develop into a technical specialist.

You will combine your engineering knowledge with customer interaction, product demonstrations, presentations and training. You will become a specialist in your field, helping colleagues and customers understand how innovative technologies can be applied in real-life industrial environments.

Your role

As a Junior Technical Support Engineer, you will become an expert in a range of advanced sensor and measurement technologies used in industrial applications.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing in-depth knowledge of sensor, measurement and laser-based technologies.
• Providing technical support and application advice to internal colleagues and customers.
• Understanding technical challenges and translating them into practical solutions.
• Demonstrating products and explaining their functionality and applications.
• Preparing and delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations.
• Providing training to colleagues, including Sales Engineers, to help them understand and confidently present the technology.
• Supporting product testing, configuration and the introduction of new products.
• Collaborating with international teams and colleagues across different European locations.
• Occasionally travelling to international offices, customers, training sessions and industry events.

This is not a traditional helpdesk position. It is a varied technical role where you will combine analytical thinking, engineering knowledge and communication skills.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is technically curious, eager to learn and enjoys communicating with others.

You will ideally have:

• A degree in a relevant engineering or technical discipline, such as:
• Electrical Engineering
• Electronics Engineering
• Mechatronics
• Mechanical Engineering
• Industrial Engineering
• Biomedical Engineering
• Or another relevant engineering background.
• Up to two years of professional experience. Recent graduates are very welcome.
• A logical and analytical mindset, with the ability to understand technical problems and find solutions.
• A genuine interest in technology, sensors, measurement systems and industrial applications.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to present information to different audiences.
• The ability to explain complex technical concepts in a simple and understandable way.

• A good command of English.

Knowledge of automation, sensors, vision systems or PLCs is an advantage, but not a requirement. The most important thing is your engineering foundation, technical curiosity and willingness to learn.
