Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a hands-on Service Engineer to install, service and troubleshoot advanced industrial equipment across the Benelux region. You will work field-based with customers, delivering high uptime and reliable performance while building strong relationships.

You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose faults, support installations, and contribute to ongoing customer success. A driving licence and ability to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic engineering background.
• Experience as a Service Engineer or similar role.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative maintenance and service activities on customer equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical faults.
• Support equipment installations, commissioning activities, and upgrades.
• Provide technical troubleshooting and on-site customer support.
• Ensure equipment reliability, efficiency and uptime.
• Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted technical advisor.
• Complete service documentation and technical reports accurately.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to solve complex issues.

We're supporting a global engineering organisation in the search for a Service Engineer to join their growing team across the Benelux region. The Role

As a Service Engineer, you will:

• Carry out preventative maintenance and service activities on customer equipment
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical faults
• Support equipment installations, commissioning activities, and upgrades
• Provide technical troubleshooting and on-site customer support
• Ensure equipment reliability, efficiency, and uptime
• Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted technical advisor
• Complete service documentation and technical reports accurately
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to solve complex technical issues
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with company standards

What We're Looking For

• Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering background
• Previous experience as a Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, or similar
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
• Experience carrying out preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
• Comfortable working independently in a customer-facing environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Full driving licence
• Experience within food manufacturing, food processing, packaging, automation, or industrial production environments
• Dutch and/or French language skills
• PLC, HMI, or automation experience
