Job summary

ABAKUS IT-SOLUTIONS in Eynatten, Belgium, is seeking a junior/medior IT support specialist to strengthen system administration skills, focusing on Windows workstations, AD, and Microsoft 365. You will handle first-level tickets, manage user accounts, assist onboarding/offboarding, and ensure backups and security best practices daily.

The role is on-site in a collaborative IT team. Fluency in French and German is required; a Bachelor’s degree in IT is expected, with prior IT support experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or an equivalent technical field.
• Junior or medior profile with IT support or system administration experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle first-level requests and incidents (tickets, phone, on site), resolving them or escalating to the next level.
• Administer accounts and groups in Active Directory: creation, changes, deactivation, password resets, access rights.
• Manage Microsoft 365 users and licences: Exchange Online mailboxes, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint.
• Install, configure and maintain Windows workstations: deployment, updates, business applications, printers.
• Diagnose and fix hardware issues: desktops, laptops, peripherals, coordination with suppliers for warranty cases.
• Prepare and set up equipment for new joiners (onboarding) and process returned equipment (offboarding).
• Carry out basic infrastructure checks: backups, disk space, service status.
• Document interventions, procedures and configurations in the designated tools.
• Apply security best practices day to day: access management, updates, user awareness.
