Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a System Administrator I for a partner company based in Belgium, offering remote-first IT support for clients across operating systems, servers, cloud services, and network infrastructure.

You will manage Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Active Directory, virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V), and security tools while delivering high-quality client service and meeting performance targets.

Qualifications

• At least three years of professional IT support, systems administration, or a related technical role.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting Windows and macOS environments.
• Practical experience with Windows Server 2016–2025 and server administration tasks.
• Experience with VMware and Hyper-V virtualization.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
• Knowledge of firewalls, switches, and network connectivity.
• Experience supporting Office applications, backup solutions, endpoint security, and mobile devices.
• MSP experience is highly desirable.
• Active server-related certifications are preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English and a customer‑first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Windows and macOS workstations and common business apps.
• Manage and troubleshoot server environments running Windows Server 2016–2025.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, and Active Directory identities.
• Support virtualization with VMware and Hyper‑V.
• Troubleshoot office software, Sage ERP, and QuickBooks; coordinate vendor support as needed.
• Resolve basic to intermediate networking issues involving firewalls and switches.
• Support backup software and endpoint security across devices.
• Act as escalation point and share knowledge with technicians.
• Deliver excellent client service and document technical work clearly.
• Meet service performance targets (CSAT, quality scores, first-touch resolution).
• Provide scheduled on-call support for after-hours and weekend coverage.
• Maintain readiness through training and procedures.
