Sopra Steria is seeking an IT Support Engineer in Belgium to provide day-shift IT support both remotely and on-site. You will diagnose hardware, software and network issues, manage user accounts, and help maintain smooth IT operations across local and international projects.

Fluent English, Dutch and French are required. The role offers a flexible working arrangement, with dayshifts, nightshifts and weekends as part of the schedule and a path for growth via the Sopra Steria Academy.

Qualifications

• Training in IT support or proven experience in a similar role.
• First experience in providing first-line IT support or recent IT course/education.
• Basic hardware knowledge of desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals; installation and repairs.
• Familiarity with Windows and macOS, user management and updates.
• Basic networking concepts: IP addressing, routers, switches, Wi‑Fi, LAN.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for hardware, software and network issues remotely and on-site.
• Diagnose problems and implement solutions to maintain IT system operations.
• Manage user accounts and provide end-user support to minimize downtime.
• Communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
