EY Belgium Assurance invites you to join a dynamic team that helps clients in the financial sector innovate and improve reporting. You will work on IFRS/Belgian GAAP challenges, collaborate with client finance teams, and design dashboards to streamline closing and controls.

Requirements include a Master degree in Economics or related field, strong analytical and communication skills, fluency in Dutch and/or French and business English, and availability to start in October 2027.

Qualifications

• Master degree in (Applied) Economics, Commercial Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Accountancy or Commercial Sciences.
• Able to perform effective research and convey complex topics clearly.
• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in Dutch and/or French and a proficient level of business English.
• An analytical mind and attention to detail.
• Strong team spirit, balanced by autonomy.
• Eager to learn more about Belgium's Financial Services market.
• Available to start in October 2027.

Responsabilités

• Advise clients on diverse matters such as implementation projects, investigation and resolution of technical accounting issues including IFRS, Belgian GAAP.
• Work with clients' financial reporting teams to help deliver financial information and improve reporting processes.
• Improve the closing process of clients – accelerates the process for statutory and reporting/consolidation information.
• Improve internal controls related to the production of financial information.
• Review, improve or implement cost accounting structures and design/implement dashboards (cockpit approach).
• Conduct analyses on accounting policies and prepare financial statements to support due diligence, IPO or financing requirements.
