Ernst & Young in Liège is seeking a Junior Accounting and Business Consultant to support multinational clients across industries with accounting, compliance and reporting needs. You will help transform finance processes, prepare year-end closings, audits support, and build value with digital solutions.

A strong candidate has a finance degree, is fluent in Dutch or French with good English, and is eager to learn in a dynamic EY environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a financial or economic orientation
• Graduate this year or have up to one year experience
• Fluent in Dutch and/or French, and have a good written and spoken knowledge of English
• Born team player, critical, innovative and curious
• Client- and results-oriented
• Strong affinity with AI and genuine interest in applying new AI trends in a professional context
• Willing to follow internal and external trainings, and becoming a chartered accountant (ITAA) is an option
• Tech-savvy; Experience with Exact Online and/or ERP is a bonus
• Available to start in September 2027

Responsabilités

• Accounting & Compliance: assist clients in their financial digital processes (year-end closings, audit assistance, financial statements, tax and VAT returns)
• Reporting: work on management reports, budgeting, analytical bookkeeping, financial health & competitors analyses
• Temporary assignments: assist in general accounting, credit control, internal optimization projects
• Start-up and scale-up assistance: active member of the EYnovation ecosystem with a hands-on and entrepreneurial approach

Connaissances

Bachelor/master degree in finance/econ

Dutch and/or French; English good
