Job summary

EY Belgium in Brussels is seeking an Accounting, Compliance and Reporting (ACR) consultant. You will help clients across industries transform their financial reporting and become trusted business advisors, combining technical accounting with innovative finance solutions.

Your role includes assisting with year-end closings, audit support, budgeting, and analytical bookkeeping, plus opportunities to contribute to EYnovation projects.

Qualifications

• a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a financial or economic orientation;
• graduate this year or have up to one year experience;
• fluent in Dutch and/or French, and have a good written and spoken knowledge of English;
• a born team player, critical, innovative and curious;
• client- and results-oriented;
• Strong affinity with AI and genuine interest in applying new AI trends in a professional context;
• willing to follow internal and external trainings, and becoming a chartered accountant (ITAA) is an option;
• tech-savvy. Experience with Exact Online and/or ERP is a bonus;
• available to start in September 2027.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in their financial digital processes (e.g. year-end closings, audit support, financial statements, tax and VAT returns).
• Work on management reports, budgeting, analytical bookkeeping, financial health & competitors analyses and other financial projects.
• Assist in general accounting, credit control and internal optimization projects.
• Be an active member of the EYnovation ecosystem with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach.
