Job summary

EMW is seeking an IT Transition and Assurance Manager to lead service transition activities and provide programme support in a NATO-security environment. The role requires coordinating project assurance, governance, and improvement initiatives across multiple projects and teams, with emphasis on timely transition and risk management.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 2 years of post-related experience, or 6 years of extensive, progressive expertise.
• Experience in Service Management within a medium-large organisation is required.
• Proven ability to advise on Service Management and Service Improvement techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative services to project boards, project assurance teams and quality review meetings.
• Uses portfolio, programme and project control solutions for planning, scheduling and tracking.
• Sets up project files, compiles and distributes reports.
• Provides guidance on project management software, procedures, processes, tools and techniques.
• Contributes to capability improvement initiatives and identifies opportunities for skills, technology or process enhancements.
• Carries out capability improvement assignments and prioritises improvement activities with measurable benefits.
• Assist in creating the Agency's Service Transition strategy, plans, and policies that align with objectives.
• Provide Transition Planning and Support guidance to programmes or projects; ensure timely execution of transition activities.
• Review and update project proposals to include Transition planning and support activities.
• Support Senior Transition and Assurance Manager with strategies and templates for transition planning and evaluation.
• Deputise for Senior Management when required.
• NATO Secret security clearance is required.
• Prior experience in an international environment, including military and civilian elements, is desirable.
