Econocom Belgium is hiring a Support Engineer to be the first point of contact for employees, handling IT issues, troubleshooting incidents, and preparing equipment for new colleagues. You will support internal users onsite and remotely, contributing to a smooth IT operation.

The role requires a Bachelor's in IT or related field, a junior or internship background, strong problem solving, and fluency in Dutch and French (English a plus). A collaborative, learning-oriented culture awaits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Management, or equivalent.
• Junior profile with a first professional experience, student job, or internship in IT Support.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-oriented and eager to help others.
• Fluent in Dutch and French. English is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide support to internal users (on-site and remote).
• Register and follow up on incidents through the ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and Microsoft 365 issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Prepare and deploy IT equipment for new employees.
• Manage user accounts and access rights.
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Escalate complex incidents to specialized teams when necessary.
• Document solutions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
