Spring Professional Belgium is seeking an HR Operations Specialist focused on pensions and employee insurances. You will serve as the internal expert, advising employees and HR colleagues, while driving process improvements across benefits and retirement planning.

You’ll partner with Payroll, brokers and insurers, coordinate retirement simulations and support life-event scenarios, ensuring a compliant and smooth employee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business Admin, Finance, Law or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7–10 years of experience in HR Operations, Employee Benefits, Payroll, Pension Administration, Insurance or similar HR specialist role.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian social legislation, employee benefits and pension processes.
• Experience handling sensitive employee cases with professionalism, empathy and confidentiality.
• Comfortable collaborating with insurers, brokers and external stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with HRIS systems (SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HR, Workday or similar).
• Fluent in Dutch or French with professional working knowledge of the other national language. English is a plus.

• Contribute to HR projects related to pensions, employee benefits and employee experience.

We're looking for an HR Operations Specialist - Pension & Employee Insurances to join our client's HR team.

Your role

As the internal expert on pensions and employee insurances, you'll be the trusted advisor for employees, HR colleagues and external partners. You'll ensure that employees receive the right support throughout important life events such as long-term illness and retirement, while continuously improving HR processes and services.

What we're looking for

• 7-10 years of experience in HR Operations, Employee Benefits, Payroll, Pension Administration, Insurance or a similar HR specialist role.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian social legislation, employee benefits and pension processes, or the ability to quickly build this expertise.
• Experience handling sensitive employee cases with professionalism, empathy and confidentiality.
• Comfortable collaborating with insurers, brokers and external stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with HRIS systems (SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HR, Workday or similar) are an advantage.
• Fluent in Dutch or French with a professional working knowledge of the other national language. English is a plus.
